In this role, Buonauro is responsible for overseeing key financial areas, including accounting, taxes, external audit management, SOX 404 compliance, financial asset management and risk management and insurance. At Kyocera Mita, Buonauro has worked with process owners throughout the business to implement real time data governance solutions that have enabled the company to ensure systematic enforcement of key policies in a streamlined and efficient manner and achieve a proper balance between meeting it’s SOX 404 compliance obligations and satisfying ongoing business workflow requirements. Prior to joining Kyocera Mita, Buonauro served as a Technical Accounting Advisor and Finance Compliance Officer for GE Corporate Financial Services. His responsibilities included overseeing the company’s worldwide SOX 404 compliance process and providing technical accounting guidance to senior management. Before joining GE Corporate Financial Services, Buonauro held several controllership and financial management positions with fortune 500 companies and is also an alumnus of PricewaterhouseCoopers. Mike graduated Villanova University with a B.S. degree in Accounting and is also a Certified Public Accountant.
