At 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 4, Chris Capdevila and Kyocera Mita America VP Finance Michael Buonauro will lead a session on how a comprehensive approach to continuously monitoring controls can help organizations honor their compliance obligations, develop a strong baseline of key controls, minimize risks and inefficiencies, and streamline internal and external audits.
Then the following morning on Thursday at 10:15 a.m., Capdevila and Buonauro will lead a small-group conversation with financial executives to discuss strategies and challenges to implementing a comprehensive continuous controls monitoring program (limited to 24 executives).

Chris Capdevila is Vice President of GRC Strategy for Oracle Corporation, responsible for driving the strategic direction and roadmap for Oracle’s Governance, Risk, and Compliance applications.
Prior to joining Oracle, Chris was the CEO of LogicalApps, which he founded in 2000 and grew to become the leading provider of automated business controls monitoring and enforcement solutions. LogicalApps was acquired by Oracle in November 2007. The company’s automated controls solutions serve as the core backbone of Oracle’s offerings in the governance, risk and compliance market.
Before founding LogicalApps, Chris was a senior consultant with Price Waterhouse, and was instrumental in ensuring the integrity of critical business processes at many Fortune 100 companies.
Mr. Capdevila is widely regarded as a thought leader in enterprise governance and business controls automation and is frequently sought out as an advisor and speaker on risk, security, and controls best practices. Chris graduated summa cum laude from UCLA with a bachelor's degree in economics.
