Matt Kelly is editor-in-chief of Compliance Week, an information service on corporate governance, risk and compliance, and the host of Compliance Week 2008.
Appointed to the top editorial position in January of this year, Kelly had previously been managing editor of Compliance Week since January 2006. Prior to that, he worked as a writer for Compliance Week for two years, reporting on all manner of governance issues.
A frequent speaker and moderator at compliance- and risk-related events around the world, Kelly previously cut his teeth as a writer and contributor to The Boston Globe, Time Magazine, National Real Estate Investor, and numerous Boston-area publications including Commonwealth Magazine and the Boston Business Journal.
An accomplished hiker, Kelly has scaled Mount Kilimanjaro, and in his spare time he leads hiking expeditions to various climbs around the world. He is currently training for a marathon that he claims he'll probably never get around to actually running.
