He has more than 25 years of diverse experience in information systems and technology. Rostern spent the first 16 years of his career in applications development, systems programming and networking. After becoming a Chief Technology Officer for a publicly traded healthcare company, he left IT to join what was then the ‘Big-5’ in 1998. Rostern served as a leader in the information security, audit and advisory practices at both E&Y and KPMG. Since joining Jefferson Wells in May 2004, John has led the practice in delivering audit and compliance related services in areas such as Sarbanes-Oxley, GLBA, HIPAA and the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard. His areas of subject matter expertise include IT audit, IT governance, information security, encryption, and business continuity management.
